Brief Bio:

As a diplomatic officer, Consul General Zhou Long joined the foreign service in1992 and has served in Chinese diplomatic missions to the United Nations, Switzerland and the Netherlands. From 2014-2016, he served as Deputy Director General for the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government. He assumed his duty as Consul General in Melbourne in February 2019. Mr. Long has a strong background in both bilateral and multilateral diplomacy and has acquired extensive experiences in the field of international peace and security, human rights and sustainable development.
